This one became quite a dog to finish because I fried my footswitches.

For those of y’all who soak up the whole lug be careful, you can end up like me. I had to desolder bunch of pins and rewire everything.

But man, it looks good.

Looking good! How did you make the graphics? I keep fishing for ideas on how to do mine and I’m still going with a crappy label maker…

Sunnyscopa film free papers and their glue

For graphic design i use photo shop to clean up pictures i see online, then take them into inkscape (free) to make it a vector file (lets you make it as big or small without loss of quality), then i add them to a drill temp pdf. It sounds harder than it is. Takes a day to get familiar with the process

:cough: do the diodes really make a huge tonal difference? :cough:
They can so long as they react the same as the diodes the circuit was originally designed with. Different diodes can have an impact on how the sound clips. For instance, in a Klon, using a D9E instead of the 1N34A it calls for results in a sound that has a bit less compression. It’s subtle, sure, but there is a difference. Change those same diodes out for some BAT41’s and you’ll get a WAY huge difference in sound. So, yeah, diodes can make a difference on the tobe. 👍😁

Honestly I was being a bit sarcastic but I also really wanted to know! I totally agree that they can have a difference, I was just wondering if they actually did in this circuit. Good to know that care will need to be taken when ordering parts!
