Hello,

Just finished my first paragon drive build and so far it sound great, but it generate some crackling sound intermitent through the amp.

I am mesuring arround 18-20 mv on the output jack when powered on with nothing else plug to it. Could this be the cause ?

how can i fix this.

Any help will be greatly apprecitated.

Re-check the soldering - specifically around the DC decoupling caps. Perhaps there is even a bad decoupling cap. There should be zero DC volts at the output.

Hello,

Thank for you answer. I am fairly new at this. Can I mesure the the voltage at different point of the circuit with my multimeter ?. here are some pict of my board. Think the soldering look good.

Thx a lot

Some of the solder joints look a bit solder-starved. I suggest a solder-re-flow on those with minimal solder. Solder should flow to both sides of the PCB.
