Paragon mini works but no led function

I’m actually kind of baffled.
Everything works great but the leds don’t switch on.

i used my multimeter and if i hold it against the solder joints they light up fine.

anyone have any ideas?

SOLVED - UberFuzz - No LED ?

I built an UberFuzz using your PCB. Everything works (pots, toggle switch, I get the intended sounds when I turn it on, however, I have NO LED indicating that it's on. Nothing. I did use three part substitutions... R3 calls for a 1.8K resistor. Not having any, I subbed a 2K resistor. This...

I mistakenly thought the long lead goes into the square hole (k-cathode) because of the electrolytic through holes.

however, the long lead (anode) goes into the circular hole.
