Parentheses - no sound on boost

Hi all!

I've built a parentheses and while the fuzz and octave work perfectly, the boost is silent.. I think it has to do with the BS170, cause the other components are resistors etc..

I just wanted to ask if someone else faced the same problem. Also if someone could post some measurements on the legs of the FET, would be highly appreciated..

Sounds like a bad BS170 or switch wiring. Got any pictures?

I can’t see your switch wiring. Did you make sure they gave you a BS170 and not a 2n7000 as a substitute? If it’s a 2n7000 it needs to be flipped around.

I read on the fet, BS170 (WK29 if my eyes still work)..

MOSFETs are very static sensitive. Handle with care or you'll have nothing but bad ones.
