SOLVED (PCB216) Black Tiger Boost Help

Hey all, i’m having some issues with a black tiger boost that i’ve been trying to complete for a friends birthday. I continuity tested everything and it all seems good to the best of my knowledge, but it does not seem to send signal, nor does the led turn on. what should i test for or try to fix? (ic is socketed so i can swap if needed but i doubt this is the issue) any helps appreciated!! thank you

for starters your LED wiring is backwards.. are you getting bypass signal?

post better pictures showing how your jacks are wired and also so we can trace the wiring from pcb to your footswitch breakout board..

it's very likely you have a short under the breakout board... I see this a lot with new builders trying to fill up the pads with solder.. it wicks under and creates a solder bridge under the board... I'm guilty of doing the same when I first started. I dont use breakout boards because of this exact reason.. I just handwire them up... to me it's even faster to hand wire the switch.

No, A=Anode, K=Cathode

haha that’s probably it let me swap that

just confirmed your resistors are correct and the rest of the board... even took your substitutions into account... the 47k instead of 51k.. it's gotta be a wiring issue

that was definitely the issue, thank you so much. i’ve built a lot of pedals but i have never been able to get any from pedal pcb to fully work out and i think this is why thank you so much

for future reference learn how to identify the inside of the LED.. if you look inside the led one side of the filaments looks like a flag and is bigger than the other side of the leg.... The side that is bigger and sort of looks like a triangle or flag shape is your cathode side... I've had leds that have come with legs the same length and that's how you quickly identify polarity visually.
