PCBs into 2U rack - can I omit 3PDT (for always on)/LED and still work?

Stupid question and I assume the answer is yes, but figured I would ask:

I have a bunch of pedalpcb boards all populated and was going to put them in a 2u rack enclosure with regular in/out and power. I was going to omit the LED and the 3PDT so they're always on. I was going to use an external switcher and patch bay to put them in and out of the signal path.

Will these boards run without a switch?

I figured they would but I just got a Low Tide Modulator that has a breakout board with it. From what I could tell it seemed like I could do the always on thing with it, but I'm not sure. With it being attached to the main board makes me question it. Like, assemble the bed and have a bag of bolts left over that say "load bearing"

I've built a ton of stuff, but I'm more of an assembler and avoid straying from the set layout typically. Pretty sure this would work, but also except the answer could easily be, duh of course this won't work.

Thanks,
Pat

Think about the switch as just another thing in the signal chain. If you skip the switch, you can just connect directly into the in/out on the board. The other two pads are there if you want an LED indicator

Thank you - that's what I figured, but wasn't sure if there was something I was missing.

When I saw the Low Tide Modular breakout being attached, wasn't sure if it was because it's necessary, or just that it's a six hole instead of the usual four which seems is the case. Made me start to second guess everything.
