Pedal repair in Florida

Hi there! I recently sold a Zonk Machine to a guy who lives in Florida, and US customs opened the pedal and some wires were broken (specifically the battery ones). The guy send the pedal to a friend but he couldn’t solder it right, so it crossed my mind. Is anyone here from Florida and is up to fixing the pedal? I ask because I am in Brasil, and would be much cheaper for me to pay the costumer service for someone who knows what he is doing than having the pedal sent back to me here and then back to US. Of course I asked him if he is ok with this and he said it’s fine!

The guy said the box was clearly opened, and the screws from the enclosure were almost not tightened at all. I know how I shipped the pedal and I have no reason to doubt the guy

No help from me, but I am a history professor, and this whole thread reminds me of a lecture I just did about the merchant networks of Europe during the Commercial Revolution. There was no Commercial Revolution, btw…
