[PedalPCB] Deofol

This has been on my radar a looooong time.

The Diablo first popped up when lurking Gregor Hildens guitar shop, it’s part of his tone stack and I like his tone. I got a local PCB of it when I was first building but it was from an incorrect schematic and I was (am) a lousy builder so it didn’t work well.

From my understanding, the first version of this board at PPCB came from a similar schematic and Rob traced this revision himself. I have to say thanks a lot as it really is a lovely pedal and doesn’t come up much.

Let me say, it fills my heart with joy. Tonally, it can go from crunch to high gain and I’m trying to convince Michael to build one so he can smile and do a demo for us all.

Build wise, nothing tricky really. I had a short when I was boxing up. Those toggle switches are close to the pots and the metal on the switch casing shorted a couple of lugs. Took a while to troubleshoot that one..

Graphics are a la Mike. I fudged the first enclosure so take your time drilling this one and don’t be like Dave!

Please tell us more about that 555 timer foot switch! Very intrigued.
