Well, one thing led to another and I didn't have a D+ on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are
. During the pedals for Ukraine charity, @Robert donated a board and I built it out for an OD250. I remember not being that into it but of course my rig at that time is the polar opposite of my current rig. I dig it.
It didn't turn me into Randy Rhoads but I like how it melds with a pushed Marshall. It has a nice full character that cuts enough bottom to not be flubby and has a nice brightness to it. I also like the slightly fuzzy texture with the germanium diodes. I used these D9k Russians that measured .36fv that someone sent me some years back, and I don't remember who. Thank you to whoever sent them, they worked out great

Only deviation I made was the pots. I used a 500kc for the gain and 50ka for the level. @szukalski relay bypass. No film on raw enclosure because real diy. Another great build that is going into rotation.
