Hello all,

I’ve recently completed my build of the Powder Blue overdrive pedal. This is my second ever pedal build. I am pleasantly surprised in how it turned out. My first pedal build was the Je T’aime which was a one-knob Marshall JTM clone. I figured I would try a more “involved” build this time (multiple knobs, toggle switch, etc). It turned out great and sounds fantastic. One thing I would like to improve going forward are the graphics. I don’t know or have the setup to do them myself, so I just use a website that custom prints vinyl lettering and graphics. It’s costly but looks okay in the meantime. Enjoy the pictures!

Thanks, I just go slow and make sure everything is as nice as I can make it.
That’s evident! It took me a long time to learn to take my time.

Early on, my sense of needing to finish in a hurry (impatient expectations about what it’s going to sound like, and so on) caused many a problem.

But I don’t want to take the shine off your work, which looks fantastic. Congrats again 😊

2nd build and already using PureTone jacks? :ROFLMAO: Rad.

The little mini cricut cutters would do what you want pretty easily. I had one until I wanted more involved graphics (which was immediately after buying it haha) and tried to use it for acid etch masking but it failed. It definitely works for simple lettering though.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to look into that. And also Pure Tone jacks seem to have a “smaller” footprint inside the pedal than other jacks, that’s my only thought there lol.

I had so much fun building this pedal, I made one for a friend. I decided to go with a crossroads motif instead of the “blues overdrive” lettering. Can’t decide which one I like more.
