Power IO module question

I'm using the power io module in my muzzle build and I'm gonna finish it up soon and I just want to check because I havent found any wiring diagrams with that module, should I run the grounds from the main board just to a ground point of the jacks that poke through? Because I see an additional power holes, and seperate battery operation holes (I'm assuming wired so It'd only turn on when plugged in)

As i figured it was mostly unnecessary since the ground is connected through the case, but still want to know if it could potentially cause any problems, or if i should the top 2 ground pads of the main board, or anything like that. (and could it be causing the green side of the led to not be working properly in my muzzle/zuul somehow?)
