Power supply/ pedal board questions.

I just finished building a skeleton key clone pedal. I can plug into 12 volt ac adaptor and it works... However i was hoping to include it into my pedal board however i noticed it doesnt want to work on any of the 9v power supplies on the pedal board ...

Not sure if i messed up something on the build or if the pedal just requires a 12 v ac adaptor... Curious if anybody has gone threw this problem.. As alway any advice is greatly appreciated on this forum. 🙂

Ive included a pic of my 12 volt ac adaptor that work with my pedal and also my current pedal board power supply.

Thanks 👍

Can you post a picture of your DC jack wiring? I suspect it is wired backwards.

It's hard to make out in the photo but I believe that 12V power supply might be the wrong polarity, that would explain why the pedal (with an incorrectly wired jack) would work with this power supply but not the others.

Yep, that's backwards.

Pedals are wired backwards compared to most other electronics.

Swap your 9V and GND wires and you should be good to go. (And don't use that 12V power supply for pedals.)

If it's a bongo after your swap, check d100(usually labeled d100 on PPCB boards anyway) with a DMM on diode setting. It may behave done it's job and burnt up, protecting the other circuitry.
