Originally built this circuit on vero and loved it, but it was snapped up by someone pretty quickly. This time I bought a few of the PPCB Kewpie boards to make it easier to rebuild and save on the mess and hassle of offboard pot and switch wiring.
A very versatile muff given the ability to add or remove high mids, compression and lows via the switches. Love it, and very happy for this to be my chosen muff going forward.
Smashing Pumpkins were my band of choice through late high-school – I even had the tablature book for Mellon Collie until a friend borrowed it and it mysteriously never returned to my possession - so the design is a homage to them. The ZERO text is just in the gloss layer.
No mods, just a straight-up build.
