SOLVED Pro-Filter has high pitched ringing

So I finally took the plunge and decided to build 10 pedals at once, since my 5 run builds all sold out. I decided on the Pro-Filter and upon building 8 so far they all produce an annoying ringing sound around 8-10khz. This sound occurs whether sound is passing or not, some kind of self oscillation. Wondering if anybody has had similar issues, or what may cause this?

Learned my lesson to build one first, then do many!

Big thanks in advance for any advice that can help get me out of this mess

I've built a few of these, with no issue.
What charge pump are you using?

Sorry this took forever, hope someone may still see this. Chip is tc1044scpa as in doc. Attaching photos I tried to get chips but my camera is not great.

So here is w bandpass mostly up and volume up. Low res mode with resonance about half up, gets worse as you add resonance. This sound file was taken with plug removed from guitar entirely and not touching. Its gained up a lot for you to hear it.

As I roll the frequency from halfway up to about 3 oclock the resonant frequency begins and builds up as you dial in and out of it. Rings from about 2 oclock until almost the end of the knob. It's creating this tone.

That sounds like charge pump noise to me.

Coincidentally (or maybe not so much) the TC1044 runs at 10kHz when it's not in "Boost" mode.

There have been a few reports on the forum of oscillating charge pumps from reliable sources.

Ahh yeah 10k sounds like it! Thanks so much! So you think I probably got a bad batch of IC chips?
