Proper orientation of right-angle pots & In/Out jack wires?

Hey guys, Before I just impatiently solder the potentiometers to the PCB I thought I’d wait a beat and make sure I’ve got the mounting right.. So if I’m looking at the top (component side) of the main board w/the in-gnd-sw-out markings being the bottom. Which direction should the potentiometer body be facing on a 4-pot board?? Towards the bottom or towards the top of the PCB??

**One other quick question about the in/out jack wiring. Which wire is the tip which is ring? In other words which wire location ie; top of the PCB and bottom/from the switch.. For example Top=Ring Switch=Tip or vice versa…
Thanks in advance!!

Pots are mounted on the non components side of the board and should be oriented toward the top of the board.

For the jack question, what kind of jacks are you using? Tip is signal and sleeve is ground.
