I wasn’t planning on building this anytime soon. I have larger builds in progress, and a few to troubleshoot. But I can procrastinate with the best of them, and checked to see if I had the parts for this.
I used 4001s instead of 4007s. According to my not-in-depth research it shouldn’t make a big difference.
I really like this. I never seem to get tired of octave-up circuits. It’s got more dirt and body than a green ringer, and it’s LOUD. To the point that I might do some attenuation. Or add a volume pot.
I was able to fit the big enclosed jacks in a 1590B, that was a first.
