PSA - ElectroSmith has apparently temporarily halted production of Daisy Seed

Hello!

I had an order for a Daisy Seed from a week ago that was just cancelled today (from a Canadian online retailer) and this was their message (I left their spelling errors intact)

We're writing you today as we were just informed by Electrosmith that due to the current RAM global shortage, production had halted for the moment on all Daisy Seed products. Because of this, we have issued you a full refund for this item.

We appologize for the inconvinience and hope that production will resume sooner than later.

Of course it's possible they just made this up so they didn't have to fulfill my order, but it seems plausible. So this is just a PSA to buy up any Daisy Seeds you find if you want one in the near future. I'm off to try and source one for myself!

Damn, I was going to order from there. Looks like they even removed the opportunity to buy one from their site. Guess I'll have to cross the border and try with electro Smith directly. I'll update on that.

Yeah shipping to Canada is crazy!
Pretty sure lots of Canadians are not pulling the trigger because of this.

Lucky for me I live 4 minutes from the border so I can have them shipped to a US PO box and pick them up there, then pay whatever duties they may or may not charge when I cross back!

Looks like shipment went through when purchasing directly from ES :O

One extra data point - I ordered two on Tuesday and they were shipped direct from ES yesterday. So at least for now they are still shipping and the price is consistent with what I've paid over the last year or two.
