PSA: StewMac dropping prices on a lot of items...

yeah, 'disposable' parts liek for pedals.. it's redorkulous. Actual tools, you get what ya pay for, if maybe 10% higher... but a lot of them are 1 time buys. now if I could only convince myself to get 1 or 2 of those aluminum curved sanding blocks for the finger board radii I own...:ROFLMAO:

If you're already buying a complete set of Fret Files and need a 3PDT, too, it totally makes sense to chuck in the 3PDT to the order rather than pay for a one-off "piecemail" order and the shipping charges for one little 3PDT...

Yeah, kidding. It's still cheaper to order the 3PDT elsewhere and pay for shipping, even if you have a StudMacs free-delivery membership.

I got the membership and ordered a few things a couple of times, and the membership has already paid for the shipping costs twice over — at least if not more so because shipping to Canada is bloody expensive. Which brings me to a small problem...

Couldn't get Ukulele strings, and some solvents and other luthier-related chemicals 'cause they won't ship over the border because of market restrictions for the strings and dangerous-goods shipping for the chem...

So for you Canuckians, you've gotta really weigh your options well, figure out what you're going to get and where might elsewhere get it (Philadelphia Luthier Supply, for example, or from Solo) before you spring on a Stoolmucks maimburr-ship.
