Pyrocumulus with BC108?

maybe this is just a short one:

I am looking forward to build a Pyrocumulus fuzz.
I wonder if I could simply use BC108C transistors instead of the proposed BC549C?

Older models of the BC108C might vary in gain but the BC54xC is a definite replacement.

Just watch the pin out. Euro versions are almost always CBE as opposed to EBC.
