Question on C5 capacitor on Closed Circuit Booster

So I'm almost done building the Closed Circuit Booster pcb. My question is why is the C5 capacitor so much bigger on the tracing than the other film capacitors. I have looked at both buolds on this forum and they both used a thicker capacitor. I have the standard 5mm 1u capacitor but do I need to use the thicker one and if so why?

The footprint is intended for a 1uF box film capacitor.

I'm assuming you have a 1uF electrolytic capacitor? If so, orient it with the positive lead in the pad on the right.
