Sadly only 5 PCBs for this were created and they were all built, the last was gifted to @MichaelW some time ago, he finally got around to building it lol.

There was a super limited edition of this that was made by @dan.schumaker and I never made an official build report but @Paradox916 made a build report. Sadly I don't have any of those PCBs either. Perhaps Dan could make those available as the IC is still available out there. Here's what it looked like

Re: @szukalski comment about the pots pads being the wrong place requiring off board wiring, he's mentioned a few times about possibly doing a re-layout of this board. Or maybe someone else wants to take a crack at it. (@Audandash :)

(Can anyone tell who is trying to use up out-sized capacitors ordered incorrectly? :p )

This is hands down my favorite tremolo. It hasn't left my modulation signal chain since I built it.

There's a limited use-case for these, since the ICs are unobtanium and no viable alternative exists.

Do you have the IC or just stocking up on boards?

The board itself does warrant another layout because it's too long (an early layout) and needs offboard wiring. I can always open source it, there's very little IP to be had with it :D

Ah, you’re right. I did a quick search earlier and noticed some ebay listings, but now that I’m having a proper look, they all seem a bit fakey. That’s a bummer. Or @Guardians of the analog, are you aware a trustworthy source?
 
I opened up my Behringer UT300 and it uses a THAT2181 equivalent. The 2181 is single VCA, where-as the original 5207 is dual VCA with one unused.

Dunno if it's drop-in replacement, but I wouldn't be surprised.

It don't believe it is. The use of the new VCA required a total redesign around it. The V2 version of the pedal came after the original IC was discontinued. I remember reading a FSB thread long ago about it where they broke down the difference between the two. One is logarithmic and one is linear, and they had 2 additional dual opamps and more components to make the new one function the same way. I sent @Robert my newer version a few years ago to trace it for the store but I think life got in the way. Maybe y'all could ask him nicely and maybe he could get back to it.

I remember you showing me the enclosure when it came in. Gambit was always one of my favorite characters growing up. And it sounded awesome as well.
