Rangefinder volume (boost) in reverse

Hey guys. I build the new rangefinder. I got it to bias to 7.2v on the emitter. I used a Soviet transistor and it drives my Vox hard. Sounds good so far. My problem is that the 10k volume pot is working in reverse. I can’t for the life of me figure out why. If it was for me I might just deal with it. But I built it for a friend. Any help wound be great.

Just flip the two outside wires on the pot.

It is a pcb mounted pot. That’s why it’s so weird. Because there is no way I could “wire” it wrong. I was almost thinking it might be by design but no….

I’m embarrassed to admit…. It was in wrong lol. Lack of sleep today… I shouldn’t have a soldering iron in my hand. But thanks for humouring me.
