Real Echoplex??

Fixed. Couldn’t go to bed without one more effort. The head needed to be cleaned. Works great. Very cool. Ty so much.

Now that it functions again cosmetic time, lol. Any good ideas to clean the outer grey plastic shield? It’s pretty nasty and I don’t want to damage it. The box has also seen better days but that’s not a big concern since it’s stable.

Take it off and take it to the sink. Toothbrush and soapy water will do wonders and won’t hurt it.

I dig the cigarette burn on that cover. Very 70s.

Cleaned up nicely. Now I am going to work on the bottom panel a little.

Is there any can put on the plastic to make us stay shiny? It really pops when it’s damp.

Like @Erik S said, disaasmble and take it to the sink. I use Windex

Windex eh. I did the top panel in the sink and it’s great. The bottom panel I didn’t really want to have to remove everything so I have been using damp q-tips. It’s getting the dirt off but once it drys the shiny goes away, lol. I know it’s minor but it looks crazy good when it pops. It almost resembles carbon fiber.

There are no shortcuts. I have to learn that over and over again but it's true.

Seems like a lot of work to do it right and pull the panel, so you end up spending two hours messing with q tips when you could have had it off, washed and back on in half the time. And you're not going to be satisfied with the q tip job when you're done anyway.

I'm not saying I always take that advice, but I'm always happier when I do.

Or just appreciate the dirt and play some guitar. Also a good choice.
