Recommended components for JLCPCB assembly process...

Another question. There's a couple components I want to finalise my self like ICs and JFETs. Would it be a bad idea, given a lot of the components are already in place, to use a PCB heater to help place the final components.
 
Made an order last week at JLCPCB for some personal stuff, a few odds and ends. I live in midwest America, so shipping through DHL was like 30 bucks, my order was 43$. I was charged 100$ extra just for Tariffs! 145%. total was 170$ something.

Not a terrible idea, I've done that in the past for parts that JLC doesn't stock.
