Reversing polarity channel switching

One of the coolest parts about building is being able to mod things to your liking. I’ve been on a kick building overdrives/clean boosts with channel switching feature which was learned searching the inter webs (very empowering).

It works but not 100%. It’s an input jack wired to a on/on tpdt toggle (to reverse the polarity if need be for switching) then to a 4pdt foot switch.

When I flick the toggle it looks like my amp wants to change channels but nothing happens. All my connections were good so decided to reference a schematic from a Fortin Grind because this pedal has a reverse polarity switch and is this as reference.

Im struggling to understand the external switching area of the diagram and was wondering if any of you pedal wizards knew if their was more to this then just a 4pdt, tpdt toggle? Thanks so much!!!

(Tpdt reverse polarity schismatic used)

How did you get this to work? I'm looking to do the same to my triangulum boost. I tried to wire a mono jack to my 3pdt, but it works backwards on my amp. Pedal on switches to clean channel and pedal off switches to overdrive channel. I'm assuming the point of the reversed polarity is to remedy this?
