Honestly seems doable based on the schematic if using stacked boards and 9mm pots— lots that could be cut out for a guitar pedal application.

Just gave it a look. Might be possible with smd ics and 1/8w resistors. It'd definitely fit in a 1590BBS though

For sure. BBS would be ideal anyway since then there could be separate footswitches for chorus/echo and bypass

I'm working on a project not dissimilar to this, didn't know roland made something like this which is cool. There's a couple of thing you could probably omit to pare it down.
Not sure I entirely get what's going on in the clock circuit. Is it set delay times? Might be better to replace that section with a CD4047 or an MN3101/2. EDIT: nvm I got it, repeat rate is the delay time, manual says in chorus mode its 22-44ms and 44-600ms in echo mode. Super cool.

Yup. Not sure how faithful it is. Doesn’t have the Echo portion either.Isn't this what the MXR EVH 30 Chorus is based on/inspired by?
