I really wasn't too motivated to build this pedal. I bought it after loving the Unicab as a direct in recording tool. I was pleasantly surprised after plugging this thing into my amp and...it sounds really good! I haven't tried direct recording with this yet but it somehow turns my Blues Jr into a Super Reverb. Pretty neat pedal. Very bright on my rig. I see no use for the gain knob other than to dime it. I cobbled together a 3.9n cap only to later find the actual 3.9n I ordered which was hiding. Tayda 3 knobber with convenient sticker.

I have both the UniCab and Condor boards waiting to be built. Glad to hear the Condor sounds good! Would love to hear a demo of it.

I need to get these built as one of these days (hopefully soon) my new amp will be ready and I'm going to need some kind of dedicated CAB IR. I'll probably wind up with a TwoNotes CAB-M+ but maybe one of these analog pedals will blow me away...... :ROFLMAO:

So which is better in your humble opinion…the unicab or condor? Or wheat are the real differences? Thanks!

To be honest I still have only tried the Unicab direct in and the Condor through my Blues Jr. I started using this pedal again the other day and I really love it.

Go listen to the Ty Segall Twins album - it's exactly the sound I get with this thing. I find it to be perfect on a neck pickup, so much so that I don't mind rolling the tone back a bit there sometimes

Edit: I actually recorded an mp3 demo of this to send to my friends, is there a way to upload directly here without soundcloud?

The Unicab sounds like the Segall record, or the Condor?
