Sabbath- no sound when engaged

Back at it again, building things wrong.
I got this guy finished and was getting full bypassed signal, but nothing when engaged.
I double checked all the resistors and had to swap a few.
Now that I have that corrected. I am still not getting anything when it is engaged. As far as I can tell, the transistors are in the correct way.
is it possible that it is the footswitch or should I be checking something else?
I have my multimeter standing by!
Any advice is appreciated!

@Coda

The non-polar or bi-polar electrolytic can be used without regard to polarity. I have read that it's not a good idea to use them in power filtering, but I am not versed enough to say for certain.
I hadn't heard that, I'll have to do some googling to see why.

I'm pretty sure that they are just two electros back to back in one package. Is it just more chance for failure or is there some other weird mojo going on in there?

I think it’s because the anode can take a higher charge. If it’s in backwards, the charge would overwhelm the cathode.

Thanks for the insight. I have a friend who builds pedals (SushiBox Effects, shameless plug. Check his stuff out, it’s fantastic and so is he) and he also said it wouldn’t have any affect on the circuit.
