Sailing the Seas of Cheese with the Seabed Delay

Here's another one I built some weeks back. Really, really like this one. Sound freaking fabulous too! Probably one of the best sounding analog delays I've heard yet.

Another one I had fun designing. Found a few really nice graphics on Vecteezy and combined them together into a whole motif. Granted, a lot of people would say a Great White would be better...but, really? What's wrong with a hammerhead? :P

While I really liked this one, I ended up deciding to take the two I built and throw them on my store on Reverb. Strangely enough, there's a delay effect on my Helix that's darn near identical. I mean, seriously close.

Wow, really beautiful!
Hey I tried finding those plastic connectors for the DC jack but I don't know what they're called. Can you help?
I also want to use them because otherwise the PCB is stuck inside the enclosure.

JST PH2 connectors are what I use, and these look like those to me. The number is the distance between the metal prongs, in this case 2mm.

Thanks! 🥰

These are the ones I use. They have silicone sleeves which make them less prone to melting while soldering. Pretty happy with them so far.

I used to have a Helix Stomp. Which delay does this sound like??

Actually had to go back and listen to the delays again. :P

I think the Transistor Tape delay is probably the closest. The way the sound diminishes is very similar...like really close. There are others that could be good replacements though. Vintage Digital is pretty good. Bucket Brigade isn't bad...but can sound a little funky with certain tones. Elephant Man is a really nice one. That one is supposed to be a dead ringer for a Deluxe Memory Man.
