On this topic too, does anybody know of a good way to keep the fumes out of your eyes?

My eyes seem to dry up when soldering. I can't imagine that's sustainable long term.

Any sufficiently powerful fume extraction setup that is positioned correctly will do this.

But there ain't nothing wrong with wearing goggles while ya solder.

I used to just use a fan, they really keep the smoke out of your eyes and nose, but they don't eliminate the smoke like a filtered solder sucker does.
