SOLVED - Kliche Overdrive - Output and Treble knob not working

Hello I just built my second pcb, a full sized kliche overdrive, and it is not working properly. When engaged there is a noticeable drop in volume and the output and treble knobs are not functional. While the gain knob works, when it is turned all the way up, the pedal is much lower volume. When the gain knob is turned down the volume of the pedal decreases until there is no output.

Attached are pictures of the board. Note: the Ge diodes are socketed and not pictured in the photos

I think your TL072 (towards the left) and the 1044 are in the wrong way.

Thank you, Coda. Just to be clear, I should rotate the left most TL072 and max1044 180 degrees? Here's a clearer picture of the board, I circled the IC's in red that I plan to rotate.

Yes. Refer to then build docs. The little half circle on the 1044 should be on the side closest to the jack, and the closest TL072 should have it’s half-circle pointed towards the far TL072.

I looked at the build docs, corrected the problem and everything seemed to be fine until I turned the volume up on my guitar or on the pedal. Initially, the pedal worked just as expected and at full volume. But once too much signal hits the pedal, a crackling can be heard and the signal dies down to very low volume (both bypassed or engaged the volume is now lower).

I attached a video of the problem:
