Son of Ben - bass pot

I´ve built the "son of ben" and while it sounds good, it seems like the bass pot is more like a blend pot between two cutoff frequencies. In the manual of the benson preamp, the bass pot is described as "high pass filter". I wonder, if the schematic of the son of ben is correct? I know, that Benson himself has confirmed it - but maybe it´s more like "here is the schematic - please don´t look any further". Has anybody compared the son of ben with the benson preamp? Does the bass pot react the same way?

The schematic is correct..... I traced the dang thing about two days before he released the schematic. ?

The so-called BASS pot in the Benson doesn't do much, so don't expect much from it. It's inherent in the design.
