Anyone tried one of these? Seems like a good idea and my timing could always be improved. The metronome click gets to me after a few mins.

I have the core 2 and like it, it isn’t going to blow you away with quality but it works. It has helped with my timing and I use it most when sitting at a desk.

Set the metronome and using my pick on my pant seam has been the cats meow.

You might try a metronome that has different sounds for different beats, like a high pitched click for count 1.

That and one that subdivides into eighth notes or triplets for songs that are slower or swung. I use the Tempo app for these when I play drums and it has changed my life - it's so, so much more relaxing because I can just tune into the click and all my worries fade away.

I have one (maybe the older model?). personally I didn't like it. the pulse is a cool idea but it was finnicky and it's still reliant on externalized tempo and maybe even more difficult than a click where you are only listening to be sure you are in time. I think a click is more useful. Some wheels don't need reinventing. Maybe if it shocked you when you played out of time.
