Spatialist reverb issue

I put together the Spatialist (FV1 soldered on by PedalPCB) but am having issues. More doesn't work than does work.

1. Volume pot is functioning backwards....full left is max volume.

2. Mix pot acts as volume also, so I m assuming "max volume" on the mix pot is actually a full dry signal and "no volume" is full wet.

3. Top 3 pots do nothing at all.

4. Rotary switch causes no change, but I can hear a dull thud when I switch it. Causes no change to the sound and all sound just like it's bypassed.

I also included a screenshot of the oscillating crystal I'm using because I had some on hand. It's the same frequency as the one in the BOM but I got it from Tayda so it might not be an exact match. Wondering if that might be the issue because it seems like the FV1 is not functioning as it should.

I had one lifted pad on the rotary switch, but the biggest thing was that it ended up being a faulty EEPROM. They sent me a new one and it works great!
Oh that’s interesting, maybe (hopefully) that’s what’s wrong with mine. I haven’t had time to audio probe it yet but I can’t see anything that’s really wrong.
What EEPROM number does yours say? The one they sent has a different designation that the BOM.

Off the top of my head I don't remember, but I do know mine was different also. It was different by a digit or something. They told me those were more readily available at the moment. Regardless both my new and old ones were the same number

Ok thanks that’s good to know.
How did you know it was faulty, or did you just email them asking about the chip code?

Thanks for any info, the problems I have sound exactly like what you had so any help is much appreciated

Sparky Mark I am going to suggest that you start a new thread specific to your issue. There are a lot of reasons why these things may not work and a lot of tests that can be run to determine where the fault could be. Rather than make guesses give us some information about your specific build with some photos and we can start to work it out with you.
