Spectron as almost the Spector of defeat..

So I finished this one a couple of weeks ago or so I thought… I couldn’t get the envelope to trigger. Long story short I eventually got it running with help of idy from diystompboxes. Also I really have never made one like this and the knobs actually being is a specific order matter… a lot. Anyways I’m just waiting on some better stereo jacks for the rest so right now their all jumped. I also went through about a dozen lm358 and lm1458 chips to find one that would work. It is a fun pedal to get sounds out of add a delay behind it and look out.

Nice! I'm looking forward to getting mine built to see what it does.
Could you provide a link to the thread at diystompboxes where you troubleshot this? Thanks.

I like the led in the sensitivity knob to show the envelope trigger. Nice touch! Is that a waterslide? It turned out great.
It was just something I made, I tried to go a little simpler on it since I get carried away at times. If anyone wants it I can send it and take off my BC logo I also have it’s sister the doppelgänger. I have to revisit this one though… I used the b2k pots with the leds and because theirs a known issue that might happen where the leds don’t fire correctly I need to either change to b1k pots or try a lower forward voltage led.
