Spirit Box not working when in enclosure

Hi!
I was hoping to get some help here to find out why my pedal is not working when it's boxed. Out of the box, everything seems to work fine. When I put the jacks in the box it's not working anymore. It makes a loud rumbling noise.

Where would I best look to troubleshoot?

I connected the general ground to the grounds from the jacks, but that did not help. I know they normally go on the board, but I thought to give this a try.

Looks like your Input/Output jacks are wired backwards. Swap the red and black wires around.
