Spirit box potentiometer swap

I’m currently building a spirit box. And I don’t have a b2k potentiometer available. What can I substitute? Higher or lower values?
That would be for the “depth” control.

Either B1k or B5k.

If you go B5k, you can stick a 5k1 resistor across lugs 1 and 3 and get 2k5, which would be plenty close to original spec;
4k7 resistor across the outer pot legs would get you 2k4, also close enough, 3k9 across the 5k pot gets you 2k19...
