Curious if anyone’s tried making a whammy-like enclosure, with a treadle and room on the side for foot switches and other controls.
This is in pursuit of the coveted all DIY pedalboard, for better or worse.
Now that I’ve picked the low hanging fruit, and some higher hanging fruit, I’m looking at a DIY substitute for my XS-100.
I ported and modified the Whammy effect from the NAM A2 Raspberry project to Daisyseed. I don’t expect to achieve feature parity or the fidelity of the Boss unit, but so far it sounds like it might be good enough for what I do.
The simple answer here is to build a pedal in a standard enclosure and connect an expression pedal. But the problem with that is it wouldn’t be difficult or frustrating enough.
