Splendiferous gain problem

i just built the Splendifierous and I have a problem with the gain control. it overloads and has a nasty pulsing sound when the gain is past halfway. just wondering if anyone else has run into this? any help would be greatly appreciated

found it. it works perfectly now and I LOVE this pedal.

What was the issue? I like it as well. Waiting on the transistors to come in for the Skylight overdrive I can’t wait to try it.

when i washed the pcb, it must've been damp in the IC socket causing the issue). when i tested it an hour later it worked perfect.

Damn I’ve never had that happen thankfully

Do you have the red 9v wire running through the ground pad? Over time that might cause an issue with shorting.
