Note that this rotary switch is a MAKE-BEFORE-BREAK style of switch. So, for a brief moment, two sets of whatever is connected to that switch be connected as the switch clicks.

Don't worry, don't worry. I'll only be using it in low voltage boxes. As strictly defined by the IEC.
