Tantric Overdrive - possible to make it clearer?

Is there someone that can tell me is it's possible to make the Tantric Overdrive clearer?
More open and clear.

By swapping parts?

Never built or played with one, but looking at the schematic, it appears that bypassing (jumping) C3, C7, C10 and/or C19 would clean it up. Socket those caps and experiment.
