I have had a couple of enclosures where they got a lot of the powder coat into the screwholes. Usually a little very carefully placed nail polish remover will soften it up to allow getting the screws in

Now that you mention it when i pulled the tap out of some the holes not only did they have metal shavings but some paint was stuck to the tap as well!

If you want to paint the bottom edge of the enclosure, partially screw in some spares to keep the holes clean. That’s the lazy person’s way. Powder coating tends to wrap around, so even just painting the top some will clog the holes.

Tanks for the info! Problem being i dont have a powder coating setup so i buy mine right from Tayda
