Tayda Enclosures - colors and custom drilling

So it turns out Tayda has a box that will serve for two prototype projects I have to do (1590B). My questions;

How do their in-house stock gloss orange and matte orange compare?

Can they drill for chasis/flange-mounted connectors? Think; panel Speakon, XLR, Switchcraft E/EH, etc.

It's the same colour with a different clearcoat.

I think they can drill any size hole from 3mm upwards. They haven't mentioned an upper limit to me so you should be fine with standard connectors.

Awesome - no smaller than 3mm, huh? I can sink my own sheet metal screw pilots I s'pose . . . .

How close are the two visually side by side? The photos make the matte box looks a good deal more yellow than the gloss box.

How close are the two visually side by side? The photos make the matte box looks a good deal more yellow than the gloss box.

I would say the gloss orange has more red in it than the matte but that might be an effect of the gloss coat making the color pop.
