Terminal Blocks and Solder Lug Pots

I'm currently trying to source a breadboard "kit". Can this be used to more easily connect a solder lug pot to a breadboard by simply screwing the pot in there?

The pins on terminal blocks are usually a little too thick for a breadboard...

They'll usually fit, but they'll wear out the breadboard pretty quick.

I was planning on putting these onto some vero and jumper it to the breadboard. Would the screw terminals or the terminal blocks be able to support solder lug pots? I have a mixture of solder lug and PCB mount pots and am hoping there is a universal fix.
