Well folks, this saga ends for me (this time) with 10 6.8uf 400v caps ordered from Amazon. Meh, it fits. I also ordered a cheap (the one in the diy clear plastic case) transistor/cap tester too. Eye opening and a worth while purchase. According to the tester the closest I could get to the actual 6.8 was 6.5 which is within the 20%, but crazy that some were as low as 5.8. Great for getting quick gain readings for my Sandspur build

@Diynot maybe it's the cheap tester that is inaccurate. You need a tester tester.
