Heres a little info:

Nitro cellulose finished solid mahogany and flamed maple cabinet. Lightly relic’d with a soft leather handle.
Volume and tone control, the tone control loses authority as the volume control is turned up. At full volume the tone control is out of circuit and has no effect.
One 12ax7 preamp for gain and tone stack loss.
Transformer phase inverter in place of the traditional 12ax7.
A pair of cathode biased EL-84s
13 watts output power with minimal distortion 24 watts maximum output.
8” Celestion speaker
Hand built in Memphis Tennessee.

I got these cabinets from Gibson. They were going to make a 60th anniversary run of the Les Paul Jr amp. They built the cabinets but stopped the project before it was complete. They built 60 cabs (60 for the 60th anniversary). I ended up buying all the cabinet. So here are some photos of the completed amps!

The pedals I made to top with it are the Je T’aime and the Sproing. They really add a lot to the amp setup!

Anyway here are the pics!

So many cool things here! Killer amps, I've never seen either flame or burst on an amp before. Killer Les Paul too, what is it exactly? Nice looking pedal build. Hell, even your photography is good. Bravo!

Is the control panel painted with a red metallic glaze over black? No matter—very cool looking, and a great bit of amp history. I had one of the little early Gibson amps, maybe a GA-5? when I got my first electric after a 15 year hiatus in the 80s. I shouldn’t have sold either! (The guitar was a pawn shop G&L Broadcaster. At the time, I couldn’t justify more than 1 electric…) They worked really well together. I sold the guitar and the little tweed didn’t work as well with what I had, so out it went.

1. Does it say you relic’d it with a soft leather handle?
2. How did you get them from Gibson, you know a guy?

That being said, those look killer!!!

That's red candy powder coat over bare metal. Its a One off I made for myself. The production run will be a bronze color like in the other pics.

Lol, needs a coma there i guess!

I got the cabs when Gibson filed in 2018. They had them in the Baldwin Piano warehouse in Trumann Arkansas. We got everything that was in the warehouse there.

Nice! I didn’t know if there was a new relicing process maybe.
