The Knob Fancier

Inspired by the thread for @ICTRock 's recent build... Who doesn't enjoy a gorgeous knob?! Show me your biggest, fanciest, most exotic potentionmeter position indicators.

I'll start with this one I found at an Ace Hardware of all places. I laid the PCB out specifically to accommodate this pointiest of chicken head knobs.

A former bandmate picked up this old (and nonfunctional) Peavey PA mixing board from the thrift store about 18 years ago. This is all that remains of it. (1510 for scale)

Careful with radios. You won't fit many radio knobs on 16mm solid shaft pots.

I've got a bunch of those. Used to get them at the local shop(s) in HK. Good looking and inexpensive.

LOVE THOSE GIANT "RCA" KNOBS from the Peavy PA. I managed to get "Garnets" (they were used on Garnet amps) on close-out in HK, but not that big.

I'd be happy to buy those from you @jessenator !

Yep. I bought more than 500 of them as surplus from a studio electronics vendor and sold enough off on eBay to keep a few hundred for “free.”
