Yeah, hard to believe that mid fifties vintage tubes are 70 years old now. I have a few even older WWII production ones kicking around too.

Hopefully these aren’t too microphonic (octal preamp tubes are notorious for it), as they are a lot of fun and have some cool tones in them!!

The vintage packaging is always cool. Then again, just the different designs of germanium transistors by themselves are cool enough.

Yep, getting good NOS 6SL7 and 6SN7 can be a huge challenge by now. My new bass amp build wants 12V heaters anyway so I took a flyer on several 12SL7s, which were like $3-5 apiece, where my usual 6SL7 sources all want at least $50+ for my preferred variants. I love octals in any case, and am just hoping to get a couple of good ones out of this batch.
