I can only assume the name of the pedal is a reference to Project X, and as a child of the early ‘80s that makes me very happy.

I built a MTB trail with friends, and we didn't have a name for it while it was being built so one of my friends gave it the nick-name "Project X" and the name stuck. It's now semi-famous in MTB circles.
North tip of Lamma Island
Name was probably no relation to the film, though — I'll have to ask my friend, Gaz.
Might name mine:
"Too Much Monkey Business"
As a nod to Chuck Berry.
