I just completed building my second one of these. I built the first one in September of '22 with my own acid etched pcb, and a second one completed yesterday from a pedalPCB pcb. They actually sound just slighlty different, probably because i used 2N222A's in my first and 2N3903's in my second one, but both sound nice.
anyway, here's a pic of the two together, (the older one on the left in a matte finish). Both of them are mounted in BUD box CU-124 enclosures (same size as a1590B):
